About BLUE

Three songs that describe my personality are Missy Elliot’s “Lose Control,” “Work It,” and “Eve Tambourine.” I like those songs because they are cool and I like her rapping.

I also like E.V.E.-she is the Queen of Rapping and the Queen of Brooklyn.

Missy Elliot and E.V.E. are my favorite female rappers because they are cool and they have swagg.

The song that makes me a better person is Eminem’s “The Real Slim Shady.”

Tamara’s Favorite Song

My favorite song is Ariana Grande’s “Honeymoon Avenue” because it reminds me of love from my family and friends. My favorite lyrics this song are:

Hey, What happened to the butterflies
Guess they didn’t count at that stop sign
And my heart is at a yellow light, a yellow light
Hey, right when I think that we found it
Well that’s when we start turnin’ around
You’re saying baby don’t worry
But we’re still going the wrong way baby.

These lyrics express so much in my life, like love and passion. What I like about her is that she expresses her feelings in her songs. Some people compare her to Mariah Carey but she is her own person. Ariana don’t want to be known as the person who sounds like someone else.

Hey it’s Slim and The Dominican Speedy and we are back at it again with the new song “Rap God” by the one and only Eminem. This song dropped at midnight and from my opinion this is one of the best songs yet from his new album Marshall Mathers LP2. (Slim) I like this song because he was spitting bars and he killed Meek Mill, Waka Flocka, Fabulous, and Drake in the song “Rap God.” It was amazing!! I like this song because it has a fast paced beat, an aspring rapper who’s album will drop next month, and it has four different other rappers who get dissed… Badly.(Speedy)

Hi Slim and The Dominican Speedy here again and this time we’re going to talk about the Canadian rock band Three Days Grace. Three Days Grace formed in Canada in 1997 and since then, they’ve made songs that are successful. Slim’s favorite songs from TDG are “Pain”, “Never Too Late”, “Animal I Have Become”, and “I Don’t Care”. Speedy’s favorite songs by TDG are “One-X”, “Animal I Have Become”, “Never Too Late”, “Time of Dying”, “Riot, Over and Over”, and “Gone Forever”. Slim and Speedy like TDG because their songs bring messages about life.

Killswitch Engage: My Top 3 songs….

The first song that I like from Killswitch Engage is “Hell In Me” because it basically exposes what you feel inside and releases everything that is inside. This song is very loud and it has a lot of screaming which feels like you’re releasing everything that is inside of you. There are a lot of songs that he made that is just like this particular one, and has the same feeling.

The second song that Killswitch Engage made that I like is “This Fire Burns.” This song is similar to “Hell In Me,” but with a twist. This song is about the passion that is inside of you and it’s getting stronger by the second and is ready to release. During this song it gets louder and more tense because the passion is about to release from within you.

The last song that I like from Killswitch Engage is “A Tribute To The Fallen.” The reason why I like this song is because everyone that fought for justice and freedom from the past, present, and future is being presented in this song. This song is touching because of the beat, the heart racing, and the quickness of this song is just like the quickness of those who have fallen.

SONG REVIEW: “Bezerk” by Eminem

Hi it’s Slim here with the Dominican Speedy, coming with you with the new song “Berzerk” by Eminem aka Slim Shady. Slim Shady is back and better than ever. Slim Shady’s song hit the billboards top 100 and its storming across the US and Canada. We both know that “Berzerk” is about being a rebel and doing whatever you want and breaking the rules. Eminem is a genius, mixing old school rap/hip hop with new school rap. The boom box was there as a symbol of old school rap and he was taking it back to the old day. Slim shady is finally back and I can’t wait for his next hit single to drop.

SONG ANALYSIS: “Be Careful” by Jason Derulo

The song “Be Careful” is saying not to trust everyone you meet because they will soon talk behind your back or become another Judas or Brutus.

You can talk behind my back, but when time comes that all stars shine don’t come smiling in front of my face, because I will not clean the dirty window to see you again.
